Mural Part Three
This concludes our explanation of the Mother Hale mural! The last segment focuses on Hale's life in her later years and what she was able to provide to the children and families of Harlem. In 1969, Hale House Center became a nationally recognized non-profit center that had a mission of dedicating and allowing a better future for children. The Hale House Center has been able to provide children with programs that are responsive to their individual circumstances and serves the social needs within the community and far beyond. The center provides a state of the art learning space for children, ages six weeks to five years, and it provides a transitional housing program for single parent homes. Without the help and vision of Mother Clara Hale many of these children would never have received the education and support that they needed to succeed in life.
Thank you for reading about our mural and we look forward to the launching of our website!
